Guide
A to-do list that rewards you — without streaks or points
In TodoCity, every project is a building, its sections are floors and every task is a home. Finish a task and someone moves in: the lights come on, and stay on. As your population grows, your city gains street lamps, a park, a train, a harbour and more. There are no streaks to break, no points and no penalties.
How your city works
| In your city | In TodoCity |
|---|---|
| An apartment building | A project |
| A floor | A section of a project |
| A home (dark window) | A task to do |
| The lights come on | A finished task |
| A faint glow | Sub-tasks under way |
| Blinking amber | An overdue task |
| Little houses at the edge of town | Tasks in no project |
| Population | Every task you've finished |
Milestones
| Population | Your city gains |
|---|---|
| 10 | Street lamps on every corner |
| 25 | A park |
| 50 | A fountain: the town square |

The rules
- What's built stays built: un-ticking or deleting a task never takes anything away.
- No streaks, points or penalties, and every feature is yours from day one.
- Prefer a clean screen? Make the city small, or hide it.
